When is my payment charged?

Your payment is charged at the point you place the order. If we cannot fulfil for any reason, you are refunded within 48 hours.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes for UK and EU customers. Non-EU European deliveries (Switzerland, Norway) may incur a small courier handling fee for local import — this is collected by the courier, not us.

What if I want a colour or spec that costs more?

We will quote you before starting the build. No surprise charges — the price at checkout is the price you pay unless you agree to a specific upgrade later.

Who owns the copyright to my model?

You own the physical model. The vehicle brands and marks are the property of their respective owners; we build under the same principle that applies to any custom vehicle replica.

1. About Roys Diecast

Roys Diecast is an independent workshop making custom handmade diecast replicas of customers' own cars. Orders are placed through https://roysdiecast.com. All communication is in English, German, Spanish, French, or Turkish.

2. Placing an order

You place an order by uploading 4–6 photos of your car on the order page, choosing a scale (1:24, 1:18, or 1:12), and completing payment. An order is confirmed by an email from us. If we cannot fulfil an order for any reason, we will notify you within 48 hours and refund in full.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in GBP by default and auto-convert to EUR for eurozone visitors at daily FX rates (rounded up to the nearest whole EUR). Prices include applicable UK/EU VAT. Payment is by card or by bank reference (with the transaction ID uploaded to your order).

Complex builds (rare classics, unusual paint schemes, extra detail requests) may carry an uplift — you will always be quoted before we start building.

4. Production and delivery timeframe

Production takes 7–10 business days from the moment we start your build. Tracked courier delivery then adds 2–5 business days depending on destination (see Shipping & Delivery).

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Because every model is bespoke, standard "changed my mind" returns are not possible once production has started. Cancellation before build start is fully refundable. Damage in transit and quality defects are covered — see the Returns & Refunds Policy for full detail.

6. Intellectual property

You retain the copyright to the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us the licence needed to use those photos for the sole purpose of building your model. We do not use your photos for marketing without written consent. The vehicle brands, badges and paint colours replicated on your model belong to their respective owners; we do not claim any trademark rights.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the price you paid for your model. We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g. missed gift dates, courier delays beyond our control). We will always do our best to hit a deadline you flag at checkout, but shipping delays caused by third-party couriers are outside our control.

8. Data protection

How we handle your personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the workshop's country of registration. Any dispute we cannot resolve directly will go to the appropriate consumer-protection body in your country of residence (UK/EU consumer rights apply for UK/EU customers).
