About Roys Diecast
Roys Diecast is an independent workshop that builds custom handmade diecast replicas of the car sitting on your driveway. Not a mass-produced range, not a catalogue of stock models — a bespoke replica of your specific car, built one at a time from photos you send us.
Who we are
We are a small team of makers who spend the working day at the bench: chassis, body, paint booth, engine bay, interior, wheels. There is no factory line and no shift schedule. Each order occupies a single bench from start to finish until it is boxed for delivery. That is deliberate — it is why the paint depth, the shut lines and the interior detail hold up to close inspection.
How the workshop runs
An order lands. We identify the exact factory paint colour of your car from the registration and photos, mix the paint, and start on the chassis while the body is being prepared. Composite body over metal-alloy chassis is what gives our models real heft — you feel it the moment you pick one up. Every fit-and-finish step is done by hand: bonnet hinges, boot latch, wheel bearings, seat stitching, gear knob.
Production runs seven to ten business days from build start, then the model goes to the courier in protective packaging. From your first upload to a parcel on your doorstep, most orders complete inside three weeks.
Where we ship
Every model ships across Europe with tracked courier. Prices are shown in GBP by default and auto-convert to EUR at daily rates for visitors in the eurozone. We regularly build and ship to the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland.
Why "handmade" is not just a marketing word
Every stage of the model — chassis assembly, paint match, engine bay detailing, wheel finish, interior fit — passes through a person's hands. There is no CNC production of custom shells, no factory paint booth spraying a hundred bodies an hour, no shipping container of pre-made stock. Your model is fitted on one bench, inspected by one pair of eyes, and boxed with your name on it.
The trade-off is time: a made-to-order model takes weeks, not the minutes a factory diecast takes off the line. The trade-off in the other direction is that no one else in the world owns the same model as you.
