BMW M3 Custom Diecast Model, Handmade to Your Exact Car

Few marques carry the weight of a badge like BMW's M division. Whether it is the boxy menace of an E30 or the carbon-roofed poise of a G80, an M-series car earns a place on the shelf long before it leaves the driveway. At Roys Diecast, every BMW M-series custom diecast is built one at a time from your own photographs, matched to your registration, your wheel spec and your exact factory paint.

This is not a boxed collector's item pulled from a warehouse. It is a scale portrait of your car, built by hand in a small British workshop, then sent out by tracked courier once it is finished.

The M-series variants we build

We cover the full M lineage across every generation of the four core cars. If it wore an M badge from the factory, we can build it.

  • BMW M2 — F87 and G87, including Competition and CS variants.
  • BMW M3 — E30, E36, E46, E90/E92/E93, F80 and G80, saloon or coupe.
  • BMW M4 — F82, F83 and G82, including Competition, CS and CSL.
  • BMW M5 — E28, E34, E39, E60, F10, F90 and the G90 hybrid.

Popular factory colours we match daily include Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Mineral Grey, Yas Marina Blue, San Marino Blue, Frozen Portimao, Isle of Man Green, Sao Paulo Yellow, Fire Orange and the Individual paint-to-sample shades. Send us the paint code from your V5 or door plate and we will match it directly.

Spec detail we get right

The reason a BMW M3 custom diecast model earns its place on a desk is the small stuff. Style 220M forged wheels versus 763M, blue calipers versus gold carbon-ceramics, quad exhaust tips, the exact carbon roof weave, the CSL boot spoiler, the S55 or S58 engine cover in the bay. We build all of it.

Each replica has a composite body over a metal alloy chassis. The bonnet opens to reveal an engine bay detailed down to the oil filter and coolant lines. The boot opens. The wheels rotate with matched hub, caliper and disc. Inside, the seats, stitching, gear knob and steering wheel are matched to your car's interior trim, right down to Merino leather colour or the Alcantara wheel of an M4 CSL.

Why M-series owners commission a replica

The reasons are personal, and they matter. Some are marking a first M car after years of saving. Others are commemorating an E46 M3 they sold long ago, or a track-prepped E92 that finally retired from time attack. We build a lot of models for owners who have just handed back a lease, for fathers passing an E30 down to a son, and for engagement or retirement gifts where the car is part of the story.

Scales, pricing and delivery

We offer three scales so the model suits the space you have for it.

  • 1:24 — from £69. A neat desk or shelf piece.
  • 1:18 — from £129. The most popular scale, roughly 25 cm long for an M3 saloon.
  • 1:12 — from £199. A serious display piece with the fullest interior and engine-bay detail.

Production takes 7 to 10 business days from the moment we start your build, then tracked courier delivery follows. We ship across the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland, with prices auto-converted to euros at checkout for EU customers. Customer service is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Turkish.

To get started, place your order online, upload a handful of clear photos of your car and share the paint code. We handle the rest and confirm the spec before we begin.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match the exact factory paint on my BMW M3?
Yes. Send the paint code from your V5 document or door plate, or simply the name of the colour, and we will match it directly. This covers standard M colours like Yas Marina Blue and Isle of Man Green, and Individual paint-to-sample shades such as Fire Orange or Frozen Portimao.
Which BMW M-series generations can you build?
Every generation of the four core M cars. That includes M3 from E30 through to G80, M4 from F82 to G82 including CSL, M5 from E28 through to the G90 hybrid, and M2 in both F87 and G87 including Competition and CS.
Can you replicate specific wheel styles like 763M or Style 220M?
Yes. We build the wheels to match your car, including popular OEM styles such as 220M, 437M, 763M and 826M, along with the matching caliper colour, whether that is standard blue, red M Sport or gold carbon-ceramic.
Do you build competition specs like CSL, CS or Competition?
Yes. We build to your car's exact spec, including CSL badging and carbon roof weave, CS Alcantara steering wheels, Competition exhaust tips and the correct boot spoiler or aero kit.
What scale is best for a BMW M3?
The 1:18 scale from £129 is by far the most popular for M cars. It gives you around 25 cm of length for an M3 saloon, with strong interior and engine-bay detail. If you want a serious display piece, 1:12 from £199 shows every last touch, including stitching and engine cover.
How long does it take and where do you ship?
Production takes 7 to 10 business days from build start, followed by tracked courier delivery. We ship to the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland.
Can you build an older E30 or E36 M3 accurately?
Yes. Early M3s are among the most requested cars in the workshop. We handle E30 details such as the box-arch bodywork, BBS cross-spoke wheels and Motorsport tricolour stripes, and E36 spec including the S50 engine bay and Style 24 wheels.
How do I place an order for my BMW M?
Visit our order page at roysdiecast.com/order.php, choose your scale, upload clear photos of your car from several angles and share your paint code. We confirm the full spec with you before we begin the build.
