Few cars carry as much personality per inch as the Mini. Whether it's a chrome-bumper classic parked outside a Cornish cottage or a snarling JCW on the school run, the Mini is the sort of motor owners genuinely love. A Mini Cooper custom diecast model from our workshop takes that bond and shrinks it down to something you can hold, matched to your car's exact paint, wheels and interior trim.

Every model is handmade to order from the photos you send us. One car, one bench, one builder. No mass-run tooling, no generic silhouette pretending to be your motor.

Which Mini variants we build

The Mini has had a longer run than most marques, and we cover the lot as a Mini Cooper custom diecast model:

We match factory paint codes properly, from Chili Red, British Racing Green and Pepper White on the classics through to Rebel Green, Moonwalk Grey, Chili Red and Enigmatic Black on the modern cars. Two-tone roofs, bonnet stripes, Union Jack mirror caps and roof decals are all part of the build, not extras.

Spec detail down to the last badge

Wheels matter on a Mini, so we get them right. Minilites and Cosmics for the classics, R90 spokes and Cross Spoke Black for the R53, JCW Track Spoke and Circuit Spoke for the F56, and the correct red or Chili-branded brake calipers where fitted. The bonnet opens to reveal the engine bay, down to the oil filter and coolant lines. The boot opens. Wheels turn on a metal alloy chassis under a composite body.

Inside, we build the interior your car actually has: piano-black or carbon trim, chequered flag seats, the toggle switches, the centre speedo on a classic, the leather stitching on a JCW Recaro. If your car has it, the model has it.

Three scales, all handmade, all built the same way:

  • 1:18 from £129 — the sweet spot for detail and display
  • 1:12 from £199 — a serious display piece, roughly the size of a shoebox

Build time is 7-10 business days from the moment we start the model, then tracked courier to the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria or Switzerland. Frequently asked questions

Can you build a classic Mini as well as a new one?
Yes. We cover the classic Mini from Mk I through Mk VII, including Cooper, Cooper S and 1275 GT, alongside every BMW-era Mini from the R50 up to the current F-generation and JCW GP3.
Will you match my exact factory paint colour?
Yes. Send us the paint code or a clear photo in daylight and we mix to the factory colour, whether that's Chili Red, British Racing Green, Pepper White, Rebel Green, Moonwalk Grey or a rarer shade. Two-tone roofs and bonnet stripes are included.
Can you replicate the Union Jack roof and mirror caps?
Yes. Union Jack roof decals, mirror caps, chequered flag graphics and bonnet stripes are all part of the build if your car has them. Send photos of the exact layout and we'll match it.
Which Mini wheels can you replicate?
We build Minilites and Cosmics for the classics, R90 spokes and Cross Spoke Black for the R53, JCW Track Spoke, Circuit Spoke and GP wheels for the F56, and Countryman alloys for the F60. Calipers behind the wheels are painted to match your car.
How detailed is the engine bay?
The bonnet opens to a full engine bay built to your car's spec, down to the oil filter and coolant lines. Supercharged R53s, turbocharged R56 and F56 JCWs and classic A-series engines are each modelled differently.
Do you build JCW GP models with the rear wing and no back seats?
Yes. GP1, GP2 and GP3 are all buildable, including the wing, the aero, the exposed cross-brace in place of rear seats and the correct GP wheels.
My Mini was written off. Can you still build it from old photos?
Yes, and we do this often. As long as we have clear photos showing the paint, wheels, interior and any personal touches, we can build the car exactly as it was.
Which scale suits a Mini best?
1:18 (from £129) is the most popular because it shows the interior and engine bay clearly without dominating a shelf. 1:24 (from £69) suits a desk, and 1:12 (from £199) is a proper display piece for collectors.
